Guitar Tuition...

I've been teaching the guitar now for about 9 years, both privately and in education services. In this time I have developed a tried and tested technique to teaching the guitar.

Lessons are tailored to the individual, and so I can accomodate all levels of student from beginner to advanced.

I currently teach the Rockschool Syllabus (more info at www.rockschool.co.uk) and encourage students to take guitar exams, as it helps being focus and a sense of achievement into their lessons.

I like to make lessons as fun as possible, as sometimes studying the theoretical side of music and practicing technique constantly can sometimes be a little de-motivating.

I encourage students to learn their favourite songs, which I will either transcribe or work through the music if the student owns it. By doing this, the pupil is constantly improving their technique and musicality, whilst learning a song they enjoy!
